Yamamoto tied it 3 3 at 4:50 of the third period, scoring on a backhand after a pass from Jaden Schwartz for Seattle's third power play goal of the game. He then scored the last goal of the shootout, sending a wrist shot past Semyon Varlamov before Philipp Grubauer made a save against Noah Dobson to secure the win.
